Thorsten Wiesenberg discovered his passion for AV technology at an early age. He gained his first hands-on experience as a sound and lighting technician at a wide range of events, where he was responsible not only for the technical implementation but also for the overall planning – from artist selection and system design to staffing and event scheduling.

He complemented this practical experience with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in project management and process optimization. Over the following years, he spent more than seven years working as a project manager, AV systems designer, and consultant on demanding AV projects – ranging from smaller event venues to complex large-scale installations in corporate, educational, and public-sector environments. His particular areas of expertise include AV-over-IP architectures, networked audio systems, and the design and integration of complex audiovisual systems.

Today, Thorsten Wiesenberg works at Fohhn Audio AG, where he is involved in the Fohhn Academy and technical project support. In this role, he combines his extensive experience in AV system design and networking with technical training and project consulting, supporting partners and customers in the planning and implementation of sophisticated sound reinforcement and audio systems.
